Peace

Hebrews 12:5-11

Life in Hobbiton is generally peaceful, with the occasional scrumping of carrots, cabbage, potatoes, mushrooms. In order to preserve that peace and all that is good, Frodo and a few others are convinced the ring must be destroyed. It turned out they had to endure hardships they could not foresee, but the experiences left them with tested character and tried convictions.

On a very personal level, Hebrews 12:5-11 warns us of not giving up when God disciplines us. If we endure hardships and grow because of them, it will produce righteousness and peace.

This is painful and never pleasant, but know it is worth it!
