Happiness

Galadriel’s mirror showed Frodo what might happen, should they not continue their quest. Towards the end of the book, Samwise Gamgee married Rose Cotton; they had 13 children. Their relationship surely came with challenges of its own, but their happiness was made possible because of earlier decisions.

In Proverbs 16:20, happiness and trust are connected: whoever trusts in God is happy. Not: can or may be, no: is. If you want to discover the truth of that for yourself, you can make a decision to put your trust in God.
