Hope

When Frodo asks Sam what they possibly could be holding on to, Sam replies that it is the hope that there’s some good in this world, and that it’s worth fighting for.

In the first epistle of Peter, he encourages believers to continue bearing any unjust suffering and to be ready to explain our reasons for the hope that is in us.
