Hope and Faithfulness

Elrond knew Aragorn’s lineage and raised him as a son. When his daughter Arwen chose a mortal life with Aragorn, Elrond challenged him by putting forth his condition: that Aragorn be king of Gondor and Arnor. Elrond likely hoped it would motivate Aragorn and push him to be all he could ever be.

Deuteronomy 7:9 says that God is faithful. Faithful is usually understood that God is true to what He says, but it also means He is full of faith. He believes in you, created you in Christ Jesus, destined to do good. God wants you to be all you can ever be.
